Inside the Imperial stockade on Boshliss were a number of political prisoners of the Empire, from outspoken adversaries of Palpatine, to protestors and demonstrators, to those who simply looked at the wrong pamphlets. Outside of it were two rebels, the Togruta pilot Ranshisi Vec and her partner Nod Rovassta.

Vec, otherwise known as Dodger Four, was a typical Togruta woman, tall and dangerous in appearance with detailed stripes on her tall, thick montrals. Her rich red skin was broken up by patterns of white all over. The bright orange flight suit seemed to be about the least stealthy thing to sneak around in, but it was clearly something that she preferred.

Captain Rovassta, owner of the YT-700 transport Imeille, was a rather scoundrelly Twi'lek. The wily grin on his orange face made him seem childishly mischievous as he leaned around a corner and looked into the base. His lekku twitched and he chuckled before turning back to Ranshisi.

"Two regular stormtroopers," he said, pulling his blaster out from its holster on the front of his gray vest. "How do you want to do this? We go in with our guns a-blazing?" In his left hand he held a small det-charge which was ready to take out one of the walls of the holding area.

"No," the Togruta answered. "You go in with that bomb I gave you. I go in with my gun blazing." Nod shrugged at her counter-plan. He really couldn't think of many better plans than the one that they'd already agreed on. The X wing pilot had simply gotten used to the smuggler's odd need to call plans into doubt at the last possible moment.

"Well, if that is all... Hah-hah!!" he blurted as he sprinted out into the courtyard. Rolling her eyes, Ranshisi took off after him. Getting to the target wall, the Twi'lek tossed the bomb, then ran as quickly as possible away before it went off, blasting the wall section to bits. The two troopers who had been standing guard jumped into action only to get pinned down by Ranshisi's repeater fire.

From the new door peered the confused faces of prisoners and their keepers alike. Taken completely by surprise, the black-suited Stormtrooper captain who was standing guard had to step back in an effort to avoid being trampled as the prisoners began to rush out. They overran the unprepared guards in the courtyard, taking them and their guns.

Nod tossed his pistol into his left hand and started to squeeze off shots at a squad of stormtroopers that were approaching down a narrow corridor while Ranshisi targeted another trooper approaching from across the flat-top. Her blaster bolt hit him and knocked him back down the stairs that he'd come up.

From overhead came the roar of a Theta-class shuttle, nearly drowning out the sound of Ranshisi's sleeve-mounted commlink. Keeping her sights on the battle, she keyed it up.

"Swamper, this is Dodger Four! What've you got for me?" she asked.

"I've got an empty ship,  Dodger Four," the shuttle pilot replied. "Get me some passengers!" He made a pass over the base and opened up with the forward lasers, blasting a tower. Cowering troopers and officers looked out and brandished their weapons uselessly at the craft as it passed by. As the explosion rocked the base, the Togruta woman waved to the liberated prisoners.

"Come on!" she shouted. "Let's go!"

"Vec!" her partner said. "Look out!" His warning made her turn and look just as another squad of stormtroopers appeared coming through a door opposite the main gate. Swamper came by for his landing run and blasted the wall above them. One of the troops crushed hit by falling debris while another was pulled back by his squad-mate. The shuttle made a landing and two rebel commandos sprinted down the ramp to cover the prisoners as they ran across the courtyard. Thirty of them in all were brought out of the prison. Ranshisi covered Nod as he made his way up the ramp, then she herself backpedaled slowly up it even as it closed. Swamper lifted off, taking the time to waste the main antenna for the stockade before jetting offworld to open space, and the relative safety of the Rebel fleet.
It's some Star Wars. Star Wars was made by George Lucas and it's his. He lets us play there so I did.
